Yes. It's also legal to say:

   color: inherit;
   border: none;
   padding: 0;
   margin: 0;
   font: inherit;
   background; transparent;

...etc, everywhere.

Leaving it blank and saying "height: auto" are, for most intents and
purposes, identical.
