Just a guess: perhaps you should try adding "body {padding:0}" to your
sheet?

The subject matter is maybe more in tune with the CSS authors' newsgroup
or some other mailinglist. It might well be that people who actively
author complex CSS sheets can more readily pinpoint your problem.
