CSS Mulit Columns

I had not, until today, seen the W3C Multi Column proposal.

I have already done quit a bit of work and developed a multi column layout 
system for DOM/CSS compatible browsers. It is in use at www.iht.com for the 
articles. (Requires IE 5 or a browser using the Mozilla engine.)

I see several short comings in the current spec for use on screen and would 
be interested in getting involved in this portion of the CSS Spec.
