Uuhhh... most of my sites and assignments are composed of <span>. These
sites are usually IE4 only and I have had no problems whatsoever. Are you by
any chance confusing <span> with <layer>?

Moreover, I believe Netscape has a faulty implementation concerning both
<span> and <div>...

Correct me if I am wrong!
