Marquee in NN4

Hello,
I have just joined the list.
I have problems with marquees in NN4.
I use the normal syntax of 
. . .
<marquee> Text </marquee>
. . .
It does not work in Netscape Navigator 4.
Could anyone suggest a solution ?
