It is also worth pointing out that Microsoft has unofficially shown a
strong interest in the XML project. The final deliverable of that
project will be a specialization of DSSSL for the Web. If their interest
continues, and their promise to implement XML extends to DSSSL, then one
of the major vendors has already taken the "bait." The other one, of
course, is still scratching its head: "What's XML again?"
