|   Why should column attributes be inherited over row attributes?  I don't 
|   think it makes sense to set a fixed preference for either.  An ideal 
|   style sheet proposal would let the author of the document determine which 
|   takes precedence on a table-by-table basis, rather than fixing it 
|   arbitrarily.  It wouldn't be much harder to do this than to support 
|   either fixed-precedence option, so this should certainly be a feature of 
|   more advanced versions of CSS.

I don't care which has precedence so long as it's specified or
specifiable.
