Dear W3C,

I am currently learning how to use the SMIL presentation format and it
is quite a remarkable and wonderful format. I have two questions,
though. The first may not be in your area of expertise, but I might as
well ask. Is it possible to convert RealPix to AVI, GIF or even a
sequence of images? The reason I ask is that I have a webcast in RealPix
and RealAudio format ('joined' together by a SMIL file).

My second question is whether or not there are any SMIL programs like
RealSlideshow, but more user-friendly. I find RealSlideshow useful, but
it is hard to sequence images that can only be up for 1 or 2 seconds.
I've tried most of the SMIL programs I can find, and most of them have
dead links, are too big or not user-friendly. Are you able to recommend
a suitable program?

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,
G. Stott.
