The SYMM Working Group has released the First Public Working Draft of
Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL 2.1) as a Last Call
Working Draft.

Comments are welcome through 25 February. 

Version 2.1 extends SMIL 2.0 and supports enhanced interactive multimedia
presentations, reuse of SMIL syntax and semantics, and new mobile profiles.
