The SYMM Working Group has released the First Public Working Draft of Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL 2.1) as a Last Call Working Draft. http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-SMIL2-20050201/ Comments are welcome through 25 February. Version 2.1 extends SMIL 2.0 and supports enhanced interactive multimedia presentations, reuse of SMIL syntax and semantics, and new mobile profiles. Thierry MICHEL W3C/ERCIM
