Re: MMS simulators ?

Philipp,

Oratrix has a version of GRiNS for the PocketPC (iPaq) that can be
configured to support multiple mobile profiles. At present, you can
select:
 - SMIL Basic
 - MMS
 - 3GPP (PSS4 or PSS5)
 - Full SMIL 2.0 Language

(The profile can be selected on a per-document basis, so you can take a
Basic/MMS/3GPP/SMIL-2 document and see how it will play on various
devices.)

We also have a device configuration profiler that lets you define the
runtime characteristics of various device types. (That is, a fancy,
high-bitrate, color phone w/video or a simple B&W phone with a
micro-screen.)

We also offer an authoring front-end (PC based) that allows you to
create and simulate documents on the PC before sending them to the iPaq.

The package is NOT free (neither the player or the editor). We usually
sell them as 'evaluation kits' to TelCos and equipment manufacturers so
that THEY can understand the differences between MMS/3GPP/SMIL-2.
