Hello,

I read in the past that the SMIL dom was discontinuted because of lack of
interest. I was interested and had started implementing it. It's really
annoying that it's gone, because as an implementor, it's really helpful to
have defined interfaces to follow instead of inventing interfaces on your
own.

I really hope that you can put it back up, even if you stop working on it
for a while...

What I'm currently interested in is that I seem to remember there was an
interface supported by time containers? such as <par> <seq> etc. If it's so,
I'm also wondering about having <svg> support this interface as well (to
make life easier for myself), since <svg> defines it's own timeline, the
result of that would also be that you can create local timelines by using
<svg> inside <svg> (is creating local timelines that way part of the current
svg specification?)

thanks,
