Hello everyone -

I just wanted to point you to the HTML+TIME spec, a new submission from
Compaq, Macromedia and Microsoft. It is available at
http://www.w3.org/Submission/1998/14/.

This document presents Timed Interactive Multimedia Extensions for HTML
(HTML+TIME). HTML+TIME builds upon the SMIL recommendation to extend SMIL
concepts into HTML and web browsers. The proposal includes timing and
interactivity extensions for HTML, as well as the addition of several new
tags to support specific features described in the SMIL 1.0 spec. HTML+TIME
also adds some extensions to the SMIL timing and synchronization model,
appropriate to the Web browser domain.
I look forward to working with all of you on this.
Patrick
