Planned Player: HELIO Java Player for SMIL

Dear subscribers,

HELIO is pround to announce the release of our
SMIL Java Player during the next September.
A beta version should be ready for the 7th.

The benefit of using Java is that SMIL
presentations will be available on almost
any platform since lots of Virtual Machines (VM)
have been implemented by Sun Microsystems or
Netscape.

This player will be freely available and
usable over the internet but will require a fee
for use over Intranets.

SJP will be fully compatible with the w3c
recommendations.

and on this list very soon.
