You may be interested in the "Semantic Web Presentation" at 
www.reengineeringllc.com , which tries to address the vocabulary and 
semantics issues in an unusual way.  There's a related paper at 
http://www.tdan.com/i027hy04.htm , and the underlying system is online at 
our site.
