CALL FOR PROPOSALS ISWC2004 (Semantic Web)

The International Semantic Web Conference (ISWC) is the primary
scientific event in the area of Semantic Web Research.

	    The 3rd International Semantic Web Conference
			       (ISWC2004)
		   <http://iswc2004.semanticweb.org>

will take place 7-11 November 2004, Hiroshima, Japan.

Sunday 7 November will be devoted to tutorials,
Monday 8 November will be devoted to workshops.

WE ARE NOW SOLLICITING PROPOSALS FOR WORKSHOPS AND TUTORIALS.

TUTORIALS
---------
can be either half day or full day, with full day tutorials
expected to include hands on exercises for the participants.
Proposals should be up to 5 pages describing:
- A brief description of goals, outline and justification of the tutorial
- type of hands on activities proposed (for full day tutorials only)
- contact information of tutorial presenters
- short CV of tutorial presenters
- description of proposed support material to be used
- requirements for audio-visual support

Tutorial proposals must be submitted to
Vipul Kashyap <kashyap@nlm.nih.gov> and
Takahira Yamaguchi <yamaguti@cs.inf.shizuoka.ac.jp>
before May 7.

WORKSHOPS
---------
can also be either full day or half day.
Proposals should be up to 3 pages, describing:
- title and technical goals of the workshop
- a motivation why the topic of the workshop is timely
- a description of the intended audience for the workshop
- a description of the intended format of the conference
- indication of half day or full day format
- a list of related workshops at other events in recent years
- contact information of the proposed workshop organisers
