There's an example you can run at an English level, rather than in the more technical XML/RDF notation.
It concerns a retailer talking about a "PC for Gamers" and a manufacturer talking about a "Professional Workstation" , and it is based on .
The ontology is used to help them figure out that the two are almost the same, so that they can share their knowledge.
