I think the "URI crisis" is a crisis of faith. URIQA has faith in URIs. I have faith in URIs. While I'm not too sure about URI-Resolution-Mode (but I'm not unsure either so I don't feel qualified to enter into that debate right now) I like URIQA from a quick reading. I'm going to take some convincing before I see a new protocol (and a resultant divorce between the web and the semantic web) as bettering it.
