Consider a particular woman named Jane Doe.

In the context of Aristotle,
"a man is a rational animal",
and Jane is a man.

In the context of today's political correctness,
"a woman is a female person",
and Jane is a woman.

In the context of RDF,
Jane is both a man and a woman.
