RDF Vs XML And RDBMS Tables

 

 Hello,
 
  Can you point me to resources, which 
 - show the benefits of RDF over XML. with example of interoperablitiy etc..
 
 - Can RDF be used to define RDBMS table information, for
   dynamic table generation and how this would be better than XML 
   for this purpose?
