Expressing relations and quering in an RDF model

Hello to every one!

I feel newbie in this interest group as I am trying to use RDF for modeling
in a research of mine.

Are there any suggestions about expressing relations between resources and
properties
(or making rules expressing relations), and about quering instances of a
model?
