An optimization release (2001-01-19) for Stanford API is available:

With large models you may gain a speed-up by an order of magnitude.

The distribution also includes a new pair of parser/serializer. These
are stream-oriented tools that are based on an extremely simple
XML-based serialization syntax that supports reification efficiently.
The parser/serializer are very fast and small. Use them e.g. for
on-the-wire exchange of RDF models.

Thanks to Michael Sintek for suggesting other new features!
