SirPac doesnt like the use of bracket ( )

SirPac doesnt like the use of  bracket ( ) in the name of element 

For example: 

   <a:Author(s) rdf:resource="&a;something"/> 

will fail with this error message: 

Could not parse/serialize: java.lang.Exception: SiRPAC Parser error: Fatal
Error: expected '"' or "'" (found "r") (line <a href="#158">158</a>, column
15)Unresolved namespace prefix df
