About one year ago Sergey Melnik created a table to "summarize some current approaches to storing RDF in a relational database": http://www-db.stanford.edu/~melnik/rdf/db.html Since then, there have been several announcements on this mail list regarding RDF stores. To consolidate information about the various systems used to store RDF, I would like to compile a list of RDF storage systems and then for each system, gather some useful data about the system. Attached is a list of RDF/triple storage systems. If a system is missing, send its name and a URI where there is more info about the system. Authors/owners (of the items on the list or items missing from the list) - please consider describing your system with some or all of the following metrics and feel free to add other metrics or useful information: o Scalability (any limits?) o Performance o Provenance support o Inference support (forward/backward chaining) & expressiveness of the deductive query language o Licensing issues (e.g. GPL) o Concurrency and transaction support (real transactions?, full roll back? journalling?) o API issues (e.g. range of language bindings available) o Query (language used, etc.) o Platform issues - (e.g. Unix, Linux, Windows etc.) o Support for distribution (e.g. federation, replication etc.) Also attached is a list of related papers/systems. Additions to this list are welcome. If there is interest, I will put this info on the W3C's web site and try to maintain it.
