RDF and Topic-Maps

Hi,

Simple question:  Does anyone have some thoughts on the
differences/strengths/weaknesses of RDF compared to TopicMaps?
To me they seem to be very similar, I'm just wondering whether anyone
has any thoughts on why one might be better than the other.

By TopicMaps I mean the ISO Specification 13250.
