Hi team,

I've just come across an open source database aimed at the library community
called OpenIsis.

http://openisis.org/Doc/
http://openisis.org/Doc/IsisIntro

As I mentioned before, in my discussion with MacKenzie it became apparent
that the library community has been using hierarchical databases rather than
relational databases for some time, and hierarchical databases have a lot in
common with XML databases. There's a bit of a discussion of this here
http://openisis.org/Doc/xmlisis

Now they are clearly interested in RDF as they give an RDF example;
unfortunately its wrong - you don't want the rdf:parseType attribute in the
data model, that's purely an element of the RDF/XML syntax.

best regards,
