Request for use cases - terminology services

Dear all,

As part of the SWAD-Europe thesaurus activity, we are collecting a list of
use cases for thesaurus/terminology services.  

If you know of and could supply a brief description of any use case or
scenario in which such a service is required, we would be very grateful.
Also, we would love to know of any resources or documents describing such
requirements.
