4.651 20 Century Art available in CVS

Hi all,

I've completed the initial translation from lecture notes to resource metadata for the 4.651 course. The
RDF and XML versions are both checked in to CVS.

A new perl script 'overlap.pl' takes the overlaps.xls spreadsheet (saved as tab delimited text) and turns it into LOM compliant XML. There are two differences between the XML I generate and the regular courseware -- first, I haven't entered descriptions for the works, so each is listed with the description "Slides and Lecture Notes". Second, since OCW doesn't host these images, I've used public URL's (found by searching the web) for some of the records, and where I don't know of a public URL, I leave the URL blank letting Jena fill in with a local URI.

This file more than doubles the entire list of contributors, and has a much stronger overlap with the ArtStor data. Updated namelist.rdf is also checked in case we decide to OCLC to be the reference source for equivalence after all.

Cheers,
-kls
