Sirpac 1.14 + Silri = schema checking?

Okay, so I've installed Sirpac + Silri and it all seems to work (except
on linux for some reason).  So, does Silri actually fetch the schemas or
do I have to feed them to it manually?  If I do, will it understand
them?  Right now, it just seems to ignore the references entirely.
