Dear all,

we have developed an implementation of XQuery in an integrated Java environment named Derby. The software has been developed for Space Engineering (in particular Earth Observation and Remote Sensing) but is basically not limited to that domain. Derby is not supposed to be fully compliant to the overall XQuery language. We are however interested in sharing our experience with the XML Query community.

Our main interest was to develop an implementation of XQuery independent from the input sources (i.e. base on any source able to be handled by a DOM like API).

Derby can be downloaded from : http://www.gael.fr/derby <http://www.gael.fr/derby>

Do not hesitate to give me your feedback.
Best regards

Stéphane.
