In the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Techniques [1],

Example 2 of Technique H20 [2] (Identifying the purpose of a link using
link text and text associated with the parent element of the link) provides
the "command" form of the verb "to consult".

Example 4 of Technique H30 [3] (providing link text that describes the
purpose of a link for anchor elements) provides the "command" form of the
verb "to go" .

Example 2 of Technique H33 [4] (supplementing link text with the title
attribute) provides the
"command" form of the verb "to subscribe".

There may be additional information in [1] relevant or helpful to this
discussion.

Are the examples referenced previously consistent with current practice, or
do they need to be updated to reflect current practice?

Thanks and best wishes
Tim Boland NIST
