draft "guide to test assertions" document - for consideration

Attached as an html file for your consideration is an early ("rough") draft 
of a "guide to test assertions" document.   I took the outline and work 
previously posted as a starting point, and attempted to incorporate some of 
my thinking and research into the document (as well as tried to incorporate 
some of Patrick Curran's earlier suggestions into the document).   This 
document is meant as a starting point for further discussion on this 
subject.  Comments and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged!
