[W3C WG Note] Test Metadata - 2005-09-14 - 1st publication

Dear QA IG,

“Test Metadata” has been published as a W3C WG Note. This is the last  
document published by the QA WG and then the QA WG will be officially  
closed in the coming days. The main Editor of this document is  
Patrick Curran, Sun Microsystems.

Future work is expected on the document.
     - Updates of the document
     - ISSUE: versioning of individual tests
     - Production of tools and/or guidelines to produce tests
     - Graphics to represent the model
     - Coordination with EARL 1.0

If someone wishes to volunteer in the QA IG to work with Patrick that  
would be welcome.

Abstract:
     The definition and provision of metadata
     has proved helpful in a variety of ways
     during the test development and test execution
     processes. This document defines a minimal
     set of metadata elements that can usefully
     be applied to tests that are intended for
     publication within a test suite.
