Maybe an addition for the next version of CUAP. Open to comments. * Authorize multiple personal stylesheet Right now, some browsers authorize people to have a personal stylesheet which overrides the stylesheet you meet on the Web. That's great. The idea came from people starting to override stylesheet by using "id" in the "body", I think it would be better to have a browser solution for that. But it would be even better if: 1. You can authorize overriding on a domain related basis. Select for each domain, if you want to apply your personal stylesheet or not and keep memory of this choice. Make it easy in the interface to change your wish. 2. You can authorize to have a personal stylesheet for each domain you want to override. Give the possibility the user to design and select a particular personal stylesheet for a particular domain (like www.example.org, I will apply personal-org.css and for www.example.com, I will apply personal-com.css) The point 1. still applies 3. You can authorize to have a personal stylesheet for each specific stylesheet identified by a unique URI Give the possibility to the user to override a unique URI stylesheet with a particular personal stylesheet . For example, on a website you have http://www.example.org/layout1.css and http://www.example.org/layout2.css, give the possibility the user to choose which stylesheets can be overrided by a particular personal stylesheet. The points 1. and 2. still apply. -- Karl Dubost / W3C - Conformance Manager http://www.w3.org/QA/ --- Be Strict To Be Cool! ---
