SpecGL: next steps

Hi,

As you may have seen, SpecGL and VIS have just been published as Working
Drafts. I'm really happy about that state of SpecGL, and all the good
work we've been doing on it in the past weeks.

Here is what we need to do in the upcoming days before requesting
Proposed Recommendation status:
A. Most urgently, finish to draft the proposed answers to Last Call
comments; the current known drafts have been incorporated into our
disposition of comments [1], but there are still a few to be processed.
For those that haven't done theirs, please send them ASAP, and now use
references to the TR version [2] rather than the internal one. Karl,
since I'll be off next week, can you take care of updating the DoC with
the new drafts as they're coming?

B. As soon as possible, start actually responding to the last call
commenters; we can start as soon as today, but it would be a better idea
to have a uniform introduction with the deadline for responses, etc.
Maybe there should be just one person responding to all the comments to
ensure maximum consistency? Anyway, we need a precise plan, and this
should probably be at our agenda next week [although I won't be there].
Given what we said before, we want to leave 2 weeks for our commenters
to respond, so if we send our responses on Tuesday (May 3rd), this lead
us to a deadline of May 17.

C. When we get responses on our disposition, we need to make sure to
update [1] on whether the commenters agreed or objected with it.

D. Given the deadline of May 17, the earliest transition call we can get
is May 18; leaving a bit of leeway in case of requests for extension of
the response period, we can try to plan our PR transition call the week
of May 23 (with the only drawback that I'll be away most of that week,
in a conference); this means we want to have our final Implementation
Report by May 13 so that we can leave enough time for the transition
request.
