I don't remember what the intent was of this.  I suggest we remove this as 
an action item.

Done.  I sent something out a while ago that, after considerable review, I 
thought that this checkpoint should stay as is.

I believe this is a mistake.  What it should have said was "develop test 
assertions for SpecGL".  This was done.  We've never discussed doing test 
assertions for TestGL, but it's premature now since the spec is in the 
process of being changed.  I would be happy to volunteer to do the 
assertions for TestGL, in the future, when it is appropriate.
