QAWG participants --

The new editor draft of SpecGL and checklist are posted.

Reference document(s):
http://www.w3.org/QA/WG/2002/08/qaframe-spec-0819.html

(Ignore messed up header in latter -- table is correct.)

This will be the one of the topics for the Wednesday (11-aug)
telecon. Lots of changes -- please have a careful look before the
telecon. Aside from topics that I'll mention below, it is up to you to
look at the changes and complain if you think we should not publish "as is".

Specific issues:

-- Have a look at all "@@" flags.

-- Also note in History section, we've been tracking the bigger changes lately.

-- Look at SoTD issues to flag for publication:
    * current general feedback requests on structure/org/DoV
    * put some issues in QAWG Issue List and point to them.
	-Atomicity of modules
-minimality of levels across all DoV
	-levels-modules
	-levels-profiles
	- Others?

-- Have a look at new CK10.5, implementing last week's telecon decision
(plus reference to it from numerous of CKn.1, n-2..9).

-- Two left-overs that we will probably ignore for this publication:

------------------discretionary items---------------------
-- GL8 discretionary
	* new bullet list (choice, options, impl-dep)
	* new implementation-dependent checkpoint?

This was mostly for review of 3-way bullet list of types of discretionary
items.

But there is an open question about whether there ought to be a new
checkpoint: if implementation dependent features/values are allowed by the
specification, then there must be a statement about expected
interoperability effects. I liked the idea, David thought it was not
necessary.

Other opinions? (See end of GL8 verbiage.)
-----------------end----------------------

  ------------------register extensions---------------------
-- CK9.5, register extensions
	* (criticized in QAWG project review)
------------------end---------------------

Regards,
-Lofton.
