Comments on the W3C patent policy

I only want to add my voice to the people that are requesting that you
keep the web Free.

The freedom to implement Internet and web standards without the worry
about patents was one of the key elements that made de Net a success.

Please reconsider section 3.3 of the current proposal. The limit on
the implementation of patents associated a W3C Recommendation is
incompatible with the most used Free Software license, the GNU
GPL. This could cause severe problems implementing W3C recommendations
as Free Software.

Keep the web Free.

Thanks.
