No Web Patents!

Today patents have nothing to do with rewarding innovators.
Patents are merely tools use by corporations to exclude 
competition. There is no need, nor any excuse to use patented
technologies on the web. There always exist viable royalty
free alternatives. Please do NOT change the W3C policy of
preferring royalty free open technologies.
