PLING: A vew Platform for Policy Languages discussion

Dear all,

I'm proud to report the creation of a new W3C Interest Group:

PLING - W3C Policy Languages Interest Group
http://www.w3.org/Policy/pling/

PLING is chaired by Marco Casassa-Mont (HP Labs) and Renato Iannella
(NICTA). The group is chartered to discuss interoperability,
requirements and related needs for integrating and computing the
results when different policy languages used together, for example,
OASIS XACML (eXtensible Access Control Markup Language), IETF Common
Policy, and P3P. Participation is open to W3C Members and the public.

To join the Interest Group, please subscribe to the PLING mailing
list. The list is publicly archived at
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-pling/

In case you did not confirm already for www-p3p-policy, the first time
you send something to the list, you will be prompted by email to
confirm your posting to the list and to the archive. (W3C Archive
approval system)

We assume nice discussions. Currently, there is a thread going on
concerning policy negotiation in the Web Services Policy framework.

Best,
