Publication of the Second Last Call Working Draft of the Multimodal Architecture and Interfaces specification

The W3C Multimodal Interaction Working Group is pleased to announce the
publication of the Second Last Call Working Draft of the Multimodal
Architecture and Interfaces specification.

This specification defines a general and flexible framework providing
interoperability among modality-specific components from different vendors -
for example, speech recognition from one vendor and handwriting recognition
from another.
The main normative change from the first Last Call Working Draft  is
removing the 'immediate' field from the following Life Cycle Events:

.PauseRequest
