I have an academic associate looking into modality diversification in UIs. I would like to see if we could get this person working with your architecture. What I don't know is if there are application-development environments that anybody but an MMI WG member could use, and if so, what the choices are, and what it takes to be up an authoring in each. Any suggestions? I think we are talking SCXML for controller, XHTML+CSS for the GUI plane, and SSML/VoiceXML on the speech-and-audio modalities. Al
