Hi , I am new to the UMTS domain and am working in the NBAP protocol development on the Node B. I have a few queries concerning NBAP and its interfaces. -- What is Transpor Layer Address and Binding ID and from where does NBAP gets these? -- What is configuration generation i.d? -- I need some pointers to the NBAP and Layer 1 interface on Node B. How is the actual configuration of channels and cells taking place? Are there some primitives defined for this interface? Is there an application or an L1 controller which takes in the Layer 1 information given by NBAP and does all the allocation and configuration? Any pointer regarding these will help a lot.
