Hi all,

Thanks to Iang for setting up this list. Frankly I'm not sure why a new
list is needed, micropay@ai.mit.edu was fine for me, but I know better than
to argue (I hope an infinite argument will not begin; may I humbly suggest
that any arguments about whether another list is needed will be done off
lists, or by setting a special `arguments-about-whether-we-need-more-lists`
mailing list, or possibly a few of appropriately chartered lists). I'll
just subscribe to this additional list and cross post, but only when I feel
necessary. In particular excuse the cross posting of this note.

BTW, my initial goal was just a modest BOF at the next IETF (or if too late
following one) to discuss micropayments and see if a WG is in order. But
I'm all for going directly with a WG if there is obviously sufficient
interest - let's see.

Best, Amir

Enclosed is the info from Iang (excuse me for not identing it):

Micropayments List <micropayments@elab.co.uk>

Following on from the recent thread on IETF WG for micropayments,
and with a view to doing the preliminary proposal work leading up
to the creation of a WG, we have created a list for interested
people.

The charter of the list is limited to micropayments within an IETF
WG context.

Thanks to Fearghas for setting up the list.

i.e., no anonymous posting.
