Please don't do this. This won't work in the text/html serialization
in a way that'd produce the same DOM as in the XML serialization. (If
you get MathML into this mess, don't expect HTML parser implementors
to help you out of it when you notice you want to use text/html.)

If you need overlaid metadata in MathML, please opt MathML into
participating in Microdata (or in an xmlns-less flavor of RDFa) with
unprefixed attributes.
