there are links to a (normative) DTD and (non-normative) XSD schema in
appendix A of the MathML2 spec.

For MathML3 we plan to make the RelaxNG schema normative and derive DTD
and XSD from that, although the current MathML3 draft just gives the
Relax NG Schema, again in appedix A.
