Feature, not bug.

To enable communication between parties who aren't coordinating  
bilaterally, it's good to have a central bulletin board announcing new  
vocabularies so that different parties know to adopt the same  
vocabulary. I'm inclined to think that mechanisms that try to avoid  
letting others know about the extensions are flawed as they lead to  
Babelization when different corners of the Web reinvent the wheel  
instead of checking microformats.org, whatwg.org or w3.org in case the  
wheel already exists.
