Feature, not bug. To enable communication between parties who aren't coordinating bilaterally, it's good to have a central bulletin board announcing new vocabularies so that different parties know to adopt the same vocabulary. I'm inclined to think that mechanisms that try to avoid letting others know about the extensions are flawed as they lead to Babelization when different corners of the Web reinvent the wheel instead of checking microformats.org, whatwg.org or w3.org in case the wheel already exists. -- Henri Sivonen hsivonen@iki.fi http://hsivonen.iki.fi/Received on Friday, 4 April 2008 08:46:51 GMT
