Therefore as i suspected, no magical DTD or editor will be the work for
the general case and since the inputs i am receiving are very
unpredictable, the only option appears to be improving readability of
namespaces.

Nobody agreed on postfixes except for an attributes lists. Therefore i
think that prefix will be set by default.
