   I am looking for suggestions on how to represent in
content mathML branched functions like

         --
        |   x + 1  , for x<2
        |
f(x) = <
        |
        |   x + 2  , for x>=2
         --

I used to have problems even representing simple
functions so imagine complex ones ... I couldn't find
a suggestion or example for branched functions. Of
course, the necxt step would also be to find a way to
convert it (or in the worst case specify an
annotation) for presentation MathML. I couldn't find a
recomendation for that as well.

   Thanks in advance

George
