How to combine post.c and showtags.c?

Hello, All,
     I am using  libwww  to write an application to send my server a xml
file and get a new xml file back.  I am trying to combine
post.c and showtags.c to display my new xml file. But  my applications exit
at terminate_handler () and never start the even from showtags().
Any idea?  Thanks for any suggestions.
