Newbie question on HTAnchor_xxx

I have a question about the libwww interface ... is there
an easy way to get the links from a html page, *along with 
the corresponding text within the link tag?*

I can use the HText_xxx callbacks to get the text and links
independently (as in the example applications showlinks.c & showtext.c)
but I wonder if there is a way to combine them?
